Designing a home for someone else allows for a certain level of freedom as there is no emotional attachment to the choices made. As an interior designer, it's easy to have a clear direction and color palette without the pressure of having to live with the choices for the next decade. However, when designing your own forever home, it becomes a different story. Despite filling the home with her own custom-designed furniture, she decorated it with a restrained palette and hints of bold colors that bring her joy. The house's style is a blend of bold, elegant minimalism influenced by the work of Le Corbusier and French architect Joseph Dirand. Corvino borrowed functionalism with bold sculptural details from Le Corbusier, which was made to accommodate the bustle and flexibility of family life. The townhouse was designed with clever, contemporary and functional features, including natural stone treated with More AntiEtch to prevent stains and scratches. The result is a modern, luxurious, yet practical and livable space that showcases Corvino's design skills and vision.
