It features a birch plywood frame that is finished in natural, brown, or dark oak, and is available with or without armrests. The seat and back are upholstered with cotton cushions that come in eight different shades.

This chair was originally designed in 1957 for the Club 44 in La Chaux de-Fonds, Switzerland, and its architectural style is evident in its clean lines and sturdy construction. Despite its formal appearance, the Club 44 chair is also surprisingly comfortable, thanks to its "Cavalletto" seating design. This unique design, characterized by an inverted V motif, provides a stable and supportive base for the arms and back. Overall, the Club 44 chair is a functional and stylish chair that is both rigorous and full of character.
