The design of the house is a blend of custom and vintage furniture with a variety of materials and textures. As you approach the house, the winding road lined with split-level and Colonial-style homes makes the modernist design stand out. However, the true beauty of the house is how it seamlessly integrates with and frames the surrounding natural landscape. The glass walls and strategically placed windows provide different views of the wooded area as you move through the house. The home also incorporates garden spaces in nearly every direction, enhancing the visual connections and relationships with the outdoors. In terms of color and pattern, few prints were used and the tones chosen were inspired by the surrounding landscape.
