Celeste Chair, By Bohinc Studio

The Celeste Chair is a beautiful piece of furniture that plays with contrasting shapes, materials, and textures. The circles and squares join to create a chair that has both substance and lightness. The seat is dramatically transacted by the large circular back. The chair's seat is made of bronze galvanised steel and acid brass coated aluminum, while the cushions are upholstered with Italian wool fabric. The chair is made by hand, so slight imperfections are part of its charm. Each piece of furniture is individually numbered and comes with a signed Certificate of authenticity to prove that it is Bohinc Studio original.

Lara Bohinc is a Slovakian designer who started out studying Industrial Design, but soon moved to London to pursue her passion in Metalwork and Jewelry design. After she graduated, Bohinc won the British Fashion Council’s New Generation Award and went on to work as a design consultant for high-end brands like Montblanc, Gucci, and Cartier. With her vast knowledge and experience in the field, as well as her passion for the art of metalwork, Bohinc decided to start her own studio - Bohinc Studio. Now, she continues to explore form and materiality through technical, hand-based work of excellence for all of her creations.
